Sea Life Mooloolaba

A leading visitor attraction on the Sunshine Coast and formerly known as Underwater World with behind the scenes tours of underwater creatures, seal swims and more.

Bli Bli Aqua Park

The Bli Bli Aqua Park is the Sunshine Coast's biggest and best inflatable water park. Great for kids, families, large groups and team bonding activities.

Located within the Bli Bli Watersports Complex the Aqua Park is a series of inflatable slides, runways, blast bags and bouncers all connected together and floating in a large sectioned off area of the back lake. Its the most fun for your money you could ever imagine and reflects our desire to make the Bli Bli Watersports Complex a family friendly environment where there is something for all ages to do.

Each Aqua Park 50 minute session begins on the hour, every hour. Opening and closing times will vary upon the time of year and the demand. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of a session to have purchase your ticket, have your life jacket fitted and listen to the safety brief.

The Ginger Factory

Enjoy behind the scenes tours of the working ginger factory and theme park with garden walks, rides, tastings and shopping facilities.

Glass House Mountains

The Glass House Mountains are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes, with the sides of the volcanoes eroded away leaving only hardened plugs or rock spires and an awe inspiring landscape. The Aboriginal dreaming story about these formations gives each of the mountains a name and character in a family, and tells a dramatic story of human relationships. Take a leisurely drive through the Glass House Mountains National Park, stopping at picturesque lookouts along the way, or get the blood pumping with some hiking, rock climbing or abseiling.

Captain James Cook gave the area its unusual English name while sailing past, on his way up Australia's east coast, in 1770. From a distance they reminded him of the glass-making furnaces of his home town in Yorkshire.

The Glass House Mountains Visitor Information Centre in Settlers Rotary Park is a delightful gateway to the Sunshine Coast. The centre is on the way into the township of Glasshouse Mountains and has an interpretive centre for the region providing information about the mountains and national parks.

Sunshine Castle

The Sunshine Castle is an award winning medieval museum / tourist attraction and function venue. This Sunshine Coast attraction promotes history, encourages education and facilitates unique celebrations. Built in 1972, it’s been a Sunshine Coast Cultural Tourism icon for 45 years. Furthermore it is the most significant architectural landmark in Bli Bli.

The Castle aims to bridge the gap between the medieval era, Sunshine Coast history and stages of Castle's own heritage with a modern and innovative business approach.

With its medieval additions, complete with moat, turrets, towers and drawbridge it is totally unique in Australia. The Sunshine Castle is filled with medieval and historical displays. More thyn that, you can find other cultural exhibitions as well as reminants of the original dolls and fairytales that were the reason for the Castle to be built in the first place. You are able to explore at your own pace in a self walk tour. Wander over the drawbridge into another time and feast with Kings in the Great Hall or squalor in shame in the dungeon. The Castle keep is a 24 metre lookout tower that offers stunning views from Coast to Hinterland.

The Big Pineapple

The Big Pineapple is open every day from 9am till 4pm. The Pineapple Train is open every day from 9am-4pm with the last train leaving at 3:30pm, the centre also has a café for light refreshments, along with a souvenir store which stocks a broad range of novelty and retro pineapple themed mementos.

There is no entry fee to visit the Big Pineapple but there are fees to ride on the train, visit the zoo and to complete the TreeTop Challenge course. More information including prices is listed below. The exciting next chapter of our renewal is the opening of a new TreeTop Challenge high ropes and zipline course at the Big Pineapple.

TreeTop Challenge is one of Queensland’s premier ecotourism operators, as recognised through a gold Queensland tourism award. The Big Pineapple course is set to become their highest and most exciting course, adding to other successful high ropes and zipline courses in the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim.

The new course is across eight acres, within the mature trees that backdrop the Big Pineapple structure and original buildings and about 120 activities across the two kilometre course, with a variety of challenges including a 120m zipline. The course will take around half a day to complete.

TreeTop Challenge is an example of the type and quality of ecotourism experience to be facilitated at the Big Pineapple.
